In accordance with the requirements of the standard piano repertoire from different style periods, the participants of the program will have the opportunity to improve the level of playing instrument, working on the most important elements of piano technique: sound design and the use of pedal. The focus of the program is achieving the synthesis between theoretical knowledge of the analytical approach to compositions and interpretation requests, besides finding the best balance between convincing performance and personal (re)intepretation of piano masterpieces.

Vesna-Podrug

Ass.prof. Vesna Podrug Kossjanenko (Croatia) is a professor of piano at the Arts Academy Split. She graduated with Master of Arts degree at the Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien, and also completed her pedagogical education at the same University. She has performed with Vienna State Opera Orchestra, Orchestra of the Croatian National Theatre, Orchestra in Kazahstan, Festival in Dubrovnik, Summerfestival in Split and at numerous festivals in Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland, Ireland, UK, Finland, Turkey,Bulgaria, Kazahstan, Croatia. She has performed with distinguished artists such as Denis Graves, Hui He, Michaelom Kugelem, Gerardom Causseom, Karl-Heinzom Schützom, Tartini String Quartet and many others.
