STAFF EXCHANGE

If you are a member of teaching or non-teaching staff at a foreign university and wish to spend a short period teaching/training at the Arts Academy in Split, this page is for you.

Please note that incoming staff mobility can only be realised through these two programmes:

  • Erasmus+ (teaching and non-teaching staff)
  • CEEPUS (teaching staff only)

Erasmus+ mobility

Employees from non-Croatian universities participating in the Erasmus+ programme can come to the Arts Academy in Split for:

  • a short training stay or an individual job shadowing (Erasmus+ training mobility, STT) or
  • a teaching stay (Erasmus+ teaching mobility, STA).

In order for a teaching mobility to take place, a valid Erasmus+ Inter-institutional Agreement must be in place between the candidate’s institution and the University of Split (Arts Academy). Training mobility can be realised even if the two institutions do not have an Inter-institutional Agreement.

Regardless of the type of their mobility, candidates need to apply for a mobility grant from their own university.

Candidates should plan their stay well in advance to be able to compose a suitable visiting or teaching program. They are strongly encouraged to contact the host department or a staff member with whom they have previously collaborated or discussed their Erasmus visit, to get the approval of their mobility. Only then can they request the Erasmus+ coordinator of the Arts Academy in Split to sign their Mobility Agreement and/or a Letter of Invitation to be issued.

The Arts Academy in Split does not accept incoming staff mobilities for training from June 1st until September 30th i.e., during the summer/autumn examination period and the summer break. (The Arts Academy in Split is closed from mid-July until late August.)

Acceptance of staff for teaching or training mobility depends on the approval of the teaching/training programme by the corresponding department.

CEEPUS mobility

Candidates should plan their stay well in advance to be able to compose a suitable teaching program.
