A working meeting held on 6 February 2026 addressed the further development and organisation of project websites as well as joint dissemination activities. The meeting brought together the managers of five institutional research projects being implemented at the University of Split’s Arts Academy:
- Research into Documentation and Performance of Artistic Practice – IDIUP (IP-UNIST-55),
- Contact: Art in the Community – KUZ (IP-UNIST-56),
- Heritage in Progress – HIP UMAS (IP-UNIST-57),
- UMAS Inkubator: Artistic Research in Community Focus – UMAS-In (IP-UNIST-58), and
- ART – WITNESS OF TIME: Preservation of Skills and Revitalisation of Traditional Sculpture and Conservation-Restoration Material Processing Techniques through a Contemporary Curriculum – UMAS-USV (IP-UNIST-59).
All projects are being implemented in the period from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2029.
The main topic of the meeting was the improvement of project website structure and content. It was agreed to update the header visuals for individual project categories (Croatian Science Foundation, EU-funded projects, institutional research projects, etc.) in order to align the visual identity of the websites with funding sources. It was also concluded that the technical team would refine the existing website configuration and introduce an additional module enabling the display of project events in a manner similar to the news display on the main page.
The meeting also discussed the technical hosting of the IDIUP project website. The high-capacity server system at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FESB) was highlighted as a potential solution, with further steps to be defined after hosting possibilities are examined.
In the final part of the meeting, project managers agreed on joint participation in the international cultural event "Fortress Night", to be held on 8 and 9 May 2026 at Gripe Fortress in Split. On that occasion, all five NPOO projects will be presented through short presentations, representing an important dissemination activity for the projects.
The need to complete project activity Gantt charts as soon as possible was also emphasised, in order to ensure a clearer overview of the connections between planned activities and the financial framework of the projects.
