About department

Our Piano programme started as a branch of the Zagreb Music Academy and is the oldest instrumental course at the University of Split Arts Academy. Successes in chamber ensembles and at national competitions bear witness to the highest standards our students achieve in performance. Nevertheless, this programme pays equal attention to theoretical disciplines, pedagogical work and practical skills such as accompanying. Professors of the department regularly serve as competition jurors both in Croatia and abroad.
