Open Door Days 2026
The Department of Music at the Arts Academy in Split will once again host its annual Open Door Days. All graduating high school seniors and other secondary school students interested in music study programs can gain insight into the requirements for the entrance examinations for the 2026/27 academic year.
Demonstration classes will take place at the Department of Music building, Fausta Vrančića 19, according to the following schedule:
Wednesday, April 1, 2026 – theoretical requirements of the entrance examinations
9:30 AM – solfeggio and music theory (for candidates of all programs)
11:00 AM – harmony and polyphony (for candidates of music theory, music pedagogy, and composition study programs)
12:00 PM – composition (for candidates of the composition study program)
For the demonstration classes in solfeggio, theory, harmony, and polyphony, candidates may contact Prof. Dr. Sc. Davorka Radica in advance via email: radicad@umas.hr
For consultations in composition, candidates may contact Assoc. Prof. Ivan Božičević via email: ivan.bozicevic@st.t-com.hr
For consultations in music pedagogy, candidates may contact Prof. Dr. Sc. Ivana Tomić Ferić via email: ivanatf@ffst.hr
Note: candidates should bring music manuscript notebooks and writing utensils.
For instrumental departments and vocalists, the Open Door Days will be held from April 7 to 10, and interested candidates can contact the professors directly to arrange a meeting.
