First Working Meeting of NPOO Institutional Research Project Managers

On Friday, 16 January 2026, a working meeting was held for the managers of five institutional research projects being implemented at the University of Split’s Arts Academy. The projects are as follows:

  • IDIUP – Research on the Documentation and Performance of Artistic Practice (IP-UNIST-55),

  • KUZ – Contact: Art in the Community (IP-UNIST-56),

  • HIP UMAS – Heritage in Progress (IP-UNIST-57),

  • UMAS-In – UMAS Inkubator: Artistic Research in the Focus of the Community (IP-UNIST-58), and

  • UMAS-USV – ART – WITNESS OF TIME: Preservation of Skills and Revitalization of Traditional Sculpture and Conservation-Restoration Material Processing Techniques through a Contemporary Curriculum (IP-UNIST-59).

The projects are being carried out in the period from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2029.

Meeting participants discussed project implementation, emphasising the need to complete and review Gantt charts. These charts will serve to more precisely define planned activities, their duration, and the persons responsible for carrying out individual tasks.

Special attention was given to the development of project websites. It was agreed that the websites of individual projects would be hosted within the institutional website of the Arts Academy in Split to ensure a unified structure and easier maintenance. A web coordinator will be appointed for each project, responsible for regularly publishing key information and updates. It was also highlighted that the IDIUP project will develop an additional, separate website, as this website constitutes one of the project’s deliverables.

The meeting also addressed the archiving of project documentation. Plans were made to secure appropriate space for long-term storage of documentation using SRCE infrastructure, while for project repositories the need for solutions enabling long-term data control and management was emphasised.

Regarding project communication and visibility, it was agreed that basic graphic templates for promotional materials would be prepared for all five projects.

Participants also discussed project implementation reports, noting the need for further clarification of certain forms and cost categories to ensure full compliance with reporting rules.

The next working meeting of project managers will be held in early February 2026, when further steps in project implementation and planned joint activities for the dissemination of results will be considered.
