The Arts Academy in Split and the Multimedia Cultural Centre Split have the pleasure of inviting you to the opening of the final exhibition of the Painting Department, Production 2026, which will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 8:00 PM at the Multimedia Cultural Centre (Dom mladih), Ulica slobode 28, Split.

The final exhibition of the Painting Department of the Arts Academy in Split presents works by undergraduate and graduate students created through various practical courses within the curriculum during the 2025/2026 academic year.

The exhibition offers an insight into the recent student production of the Painting Department, which fosters the development of individual and diverse artistic approaches and interests, as well as openness to dominant and newer theoretical perspectives in the field of visual culture, while not losing sight of visual expression as the foundation of artistic creation.

The aim of regularly presenting student works in a concrete gallery space is to enable students to gain experience through the process of organizing an exhibition and to face the critical view of the public.

The exhibition will be open until June 19, 2026, every day except Sunday from 5 PM to 9 PM.

Admission is free.

The exhibition will be realized as part of the institutional research project KUZ: Contact – Art in the Community, with the goal of promoting the study program and introducing the public to the results of the educational process of the Painting Department of the Arts Academy in Split.
