On Friday, January 16, 2026, a working meeting was held for the project leaders of five institutional research projects being implemented at the University of Split, Arts Academy. The projects in question are:

• IDIUP – Research on Documenting and Performing Artistic Practice (IP-UNIST-55),
• KUZ – Contact: Art in the Community (IP-UNIST-56),
• HIP UMAS – Heritage in Progress (IP-UNIST-57),
• UMAS-In – UMAS Incubator: Artistic Research in the Focus of the Community (IP-UNIST-58), and
• UMAS-USV – Art – A Witness of Time (IP-UNIST-59).

The projects are being implemented over the period from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2029.

The meeting participants discussed project implementation, emphasizing the need to finalize and review the Gantt charts. These charts will provide a more precise definition of planned activities, their duration, and the personnel responsible for executing individual tasks.

Special emphasis was placed on the development of project websites. It was agreed that the pages for individual projects will be hosted within the institutional website of the Arts Academy in Split to ensure a unified structure and easier maintenance. A web coordinator will be appointed for each project, tasked with regularly publishing key information and updates. It was also noted that the IDIUP project will develop an additional, separate website, as it constitutes one of the direct deliverables of the project itself.

The meeting also covered the archiving of project documentation. Plans are underway to secure adequate space for long-term data storage using the SRCE (University Computing Centre) infrastructure, while the need for solutions allowing long-term control and data management was stressed regarding project repositories.

In the area of project information and visibility, it was agreed that basic graphic templates for promotional materials would be prepared for all five projects.

Participants also discussed project implementation reports, highlights being the need for additional clarification of specific forms and cost categories to ensure full compliance with reporting regulations.

The next working meeting of the project leaders will take place in early February 2026, to review further steps in project implementation and plan joint activities for the dissemination of results.
