On Wednesday, February 25, starting at 4 PM, at the Jakov Gotovac Music School in Sinj, professors and assistants from the Department of Music Theory and Composition will hold a Composition Workshop for high school students. The program aims to stimulate the creative musical impulse of young musicians, explore the sonic characteristics of musical instruments, and create coherent musical structures. The artistic directors of the workshop are composers Šimun-Čarli Botica and Lukša Vučić, while the didactic and methodological framework was proposed by Professor Davorka Radica, PhD.

The workshop was developed as part of the institutional research project “UMAS Incubator: Artistic Research in the Focus of the Community (UMAS-In), IP-UNIST-58,” which is being implemented at the Arts Academy in Split from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2029, and is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
