Boris Greiner, Ateljei Žitnjak, Production_IDIUP_7

As part of the activity "Production of Documentary Film Footage and the IDIUP_7 Database," an audiovisual recording session and interview were conducted on October 16, 2027, with Boris Greiner—an artist, designer, and author who has spent many years writing about contemporary art. The session took place at Atelier Žitnjak in Zagreb and was focused on gathering content for a documentary film and an online database for the IDIUP project.

During the conversation, particular attention was given to Greiner’s long-standing documentation of the Croatian visual arts and media scene through his personal project and publishing initiative, "Osvojena područja" ("Conquered Territories"). Within this framework, he publishes essays, art criticism, exhibition reviews, and reflections on contemporary artistic practices. The discussion explored the role of art criticism and documentation in shaping cultural memory, as well as the importance of the continuous recording and archiving of artistic production.

The activity was conceived and executed by Prof. Art. Slobodan Jokić (conducting the interview), Full Prof. Art. Toni Meštrović (camera), Asst. Prof. Art. Gildo Bavčević (sound recording), and student Mikula Nižetić (lighting). The collected audiovisual materials will be incorporated into the IDIUP project’s documentary film and digital database, contributing to the documentation and interpretation of contemporary artistic, archival, and documentary practices.
