13th Edition of the Flumas Festival

From April 24 to 26, 2026, the 13th edition of the Flumas Festival was held in Split and Kaštela, an event that has been gathering young flutists from Croatia and abroad for 15 years. The program included masterclasses, individual lessons (active participation), and open classes (passive participation), as well as concerts by guest professors and participants.

This year's guests were world-renowned flutists Karl-Heinz Schütz (Vienna Philharmonic) and Riccardo Ghiani (Teatro Lirico di Cagliari), while pianists Prof. Francesca Carta and Prof. Vesna Podrug participated as official accompanists.

The workshops were held at the premises of the Arts Academy, while the festival opened with a concert by guest professors in the Gothic Hall of the City Museum of Split, and closed with a participants' concert at the Vitturi Castle in Kaštel Lukšić.
